Start a New Utility Service:
New to Valley View or need to establish utility service?
New customers must complete a Utility Service Application and Agreement to establish water, sewer, and trash service.
After completing the application, please contact the City Secretary at City Hall to set up your service. New applicants are required to provide a valid government-issued photo ID at City Hall.
New Service Fees:
Residential
$200 water connection deposit
$50 nonrefundable administrative fee
Commercial
$400 water connection deposit
$50 nonrefundable administrative fee
Commercial utility connections require a Certificate of Occupancy or active building permit prior to connection.
Pay Your Utility Bill
Water, sewer, and trash services are combined on one City utility bill. Utility bills can be viewed and paid online through the City's utility payment portal. The City began using its current online utility payment system in March 2025.
Utility Billing Schedule
Water meters are read during the last week of each month.
Bills Issued: 1st of each month
Payment Due: 15th of each month
Service Disconnects: 27th of each month
Garbage Service
The City of Valley View contracts with Republic Services for garbage collection.
Garbage Collection Day: Friday
Please have your garbage container at the end of your driveway by 7:30 a.m. on Friday for collection. The City of Valley View does not currently offer recycling services.
Need a New or Replacement Garbage Can?
To request a new or replacement garbage container, please call the City Secretary at City Hall at 940-726-3740.
Temporary Garbage Service Hold
If you will be away from your residence for three months or longer, you may request a temporary hold on garbage service. A $25 fee applies to collect the garbage container, and a $25 fee applies to return the container when service resumes. Please contact City Hall to arrange a temporary service hold.
Water & Sewer Emergencies
For a water or sewer emergency, please call: 903-267-9117. For a life-threatening emergency requiring immediate police, fire, or medical assistance, please call 911.
